Helping young people grow, heal, and discover who they are.

Living Wells Community & Development Center provides safe, supportive, and creative spaces where young people can learn, heal, and thrive.
All of our youth services are offered through two core programs:

  • After-School Program (school-year)
  • Summer Experience (summer months)

Everything we do for youth — tutoring, therapy, arts, mentoring, faith, and enrichment — is included within these programs.

After-School Program

When: During the school year
Who: Middle & High School students

Our After-School Program provides daily structure, safety, and support during the most critical hours of the day.

Each program day includes:

  • Homework help & tutoring
  • Therapeutic group circles
  • Creative arts (dance, music, visual art, theater)
  • Faith & character development
  • Healthy snacks and meals
  • Positive adult mentorship

This program helps students:

  • Improve academically
  • Build emotional strength
  • Heal from trauma
  • Gain confidence
  • Develop purpose and identity

Summer Experience

When: Summer months
Who: Middle & High School students

The Summer Experience is a day-camp style program that blends fun, healing, learning, and real-world exposure.

Youth participate in:

  • Creative arts intensives
  • Therapeutic groups
  • Team building & leadership
  • Field trips & experiences
  • Career and life-skills exposure
  • Faith, reflection, and growth

The goal is to keep youth safe, inspired, and growing all summer — not just supervised.

What Youth Gain

Through both programs, youth receive:

  • Academic support
